HOLIDAY CLUB 2008

Theme: Treasure Quest

Theme Song: Treasure by Tree 63

Number of Kids: 800+

Number of Leaders:around 30+/-

Place: Community Ministries church(all until 1 o'clock)

Place (Leaders "camp"): Krugersdorp High School(KHS) (this is the place the leaders stay yes we lived at a high school!)

Mood(Kids): Excited

Mood(Leaders): Excited and tired

Time(kids): Around 7o'clock am

Time(Leaders): 5o'clock am

Date(kids):last week of June (Monday-Friday)

Date(Leaders): the first two Saturdays of June and then the last Saturday and the rest of June (Sunday-Sunday)

Activities (Kids and Leaders): Obstacle Course, Clown, Jumping Castle, Sports, Musical Statues.

Activities(Leaders only): Clean up after the kids left, a skit, and then all the cool things at the Hostel

Notes: We all had a Wonderful time there all of the Leaders were so tired when it ended some slept in until noon the day after it ended!

I can't wait to do it again Next year!!!!

(we all got Banana split the last Friday!!!!)

the worship team made up new motions for a song that we had never done

We had a Lekker time! I didn't really get to talk to my mom.

on "A window in DiCoccoville my mom said that she wasn't sure if i had said that i had been up since 3am or if i woke up at 3am one morning.... Me and the girls in my room were going to prank call some of the Boys that were also staying in the hostel but we were all to tired. this is what we were going to say to them....

(3:00am)"GOOOOOD MORNING!! this is your wake up call from the Sunshine Wake Up services! It is now 3am!!!(pause) Now that you've experienced how good the service is would you like to sign up to be on the wake up list??"

(3:30am) "Good morning sir this is the Sunshine wake up service again...it is now 3:30am are you up yet??"

I think that they would turn off their phones by then!! LOL

we had so much fun!
